Biography
I am a birth and postpartum doula, having attended more than 90 births and worked with many families postpartum as well. I've helped women and their partners in a wide range of environments, from planned Cesarean to homebirth, from straightforward births, to helping with twins and babies with a birth defect. I am also a childbirth educator, and instructor at Bastyr Univeristy in the Postpartum Doula trainings. I serve on the Board of Postpartum Support International, a non-profit dedicated to helping women and their families through postpartum mood disorders.

Formal Training
- Seattle Midwifery School plus numerous continuing education opportunities, including the use of a TENS machine, VBAC, Hypnobirthing, Lactation, etc.
Education
- I have a double Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Oceanography, as well as a Master's of Science in Marine Geochemistry.
Experience or Specialized Training
- I have experience with twins, VBAC, high anxiety and mental illness clients.
