Biography
I began working as a doula after I had my first son. The experience of giving birth had a profound effect on me and I became fascinated and inspired by attending births and learning as much as I could about the subject. My younger son is now almost four and I find that I have a limitless passion for this work. Each time I watch a woman give birth, I am filled with awe. I know that only a few of us really have the opportunity to follow our hearts and do work that we truly love. I love my work. I love how universal birth is and how in one profound moment a family is born or grows. I love that in whatever way I am able, I can help make it an experience that is good and safe and joyful for a woman and her partner. It is my hope that women can experience more joy during their births and witness their own amazing strength through this process.
