Biography
I am a mother of 2 grown sons and grandmother. I have been married for over 36 years. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, doing crafts and sewing. Plus being a doula has given me the chance to fill my heart with the wonder of life. Helping families realize their dream of their birth and strength in becoming parents of their newborn.
Birth Doula Certifications
- Certified with DONA as a birth and postpartum doula. Also, certified with NAPS as a postpartum doula. Gottman educator for Bringing Baby Home
Formal Training
- Did my formal training with Seattle Midwifery School for labor support and postpartum support in March/April of 2006.
Education
- Some college coursed taken, no degree.
Continuing Education
- Continue to take courses offered by PALS, NAPS, and other sources to enhance my knowledge for my doula field.
Experience or Specialized Training
- Volunteer doula for University of Washington, member of Open Arms and Operation Special Delivery.
